Momentum compression scanner
An indicator reads one chart. This reads five thousand six hundred
Every evening, ArcAlpha scans the investable US universe across five timeframes for momentum compression: the quiet phase where range narrows before it widens again. You get the list, ranked by how well formed each setup is, with market cycle phase and options flow context already attached.

What comes back with each result
A list of tickers is not worth much on its own. The work is in what sits beside each one.
A strength reading on every row
Each result carries a 0 to 100 reading of how well formed the setup is against the historical record for that pattern. It sorts a long list into something you can work through in a few minutes rather than scrolling.
Five timeframes, one scan
Weekly and daily for position and swing horizons, down through four hour, one hour and fifteen minute for shorter ones. The same name can be compressing on one clock and released on another, and the scan shows both.
Market cycle phase, weekly and daily
Where the name sits in its larger cycle: quiet accumulation, marking up, distribution, or marking down. A compression inside accumulation is a different situation from the same compression late in a markup.
Filters that narrow to your style
Direction, market capitalisation, sector, minimum strength and cycle phase. Your filter set persists, so the scan opens where you left it rather than at the top of the universe.

Before you sign up
I already have a compression indicator on my charts. Why would I pay for this?
An indicator reads the chart you already chose to open. It cannot tell you which of 5,600 names is compressing tonight. That is the whole difference: the scan runs the universe every evening across five timeframes and hands you the list, ranked, with the market cycle phase and options flow context already attached to each row.
What does the scanner actually cover?
Roughly 5,600 investable US stocks and ETFs, which is the whole listed universe once micro and nano caps are excluded. Five timeframes, from weekly down to fifteen minutes. Results are filterable by direction, market cap, sector, minimum strength and market cycle phase.
Does ArcAlpha tell me what to trade?
No. ArcAlpha is an educational market intelligence platform. It produces algorithmic observations that are identical for every subscriber, and it never sends orders or holds funds. You trade through your own broker and make your own decisions.
What is the strength reading on each result?
A 0 to 100 educational reading of how well formed a setup is against the historical record for that pattern. It is analysis of the present, not a forecast, and a high reading is not a prediction that a move will follow.
What does it cost to find out?
